The North Pole Royal Greenwich Covid-19 procedures (last updated 26/06/2020)


We hope you are all keeping safe and well - we are reopening on July 4th. 

 

We want to ensure our staff and customers are staying the safest they can. The below adhere to the government guidelines. We want to make it as safe as possible but also as enjoyable.


Please see below:


For customers:

  • If you are feeling unwell in any type of way please do not book/enter the venue.
  • We strongly encourage bookings online to limit walk-ins
  • Upon arrival you will be required to give your name/contact/address IF YOU HAVE NOT BOOKED ONLINE - we will hold these details for 21 days.
  • We will be ensuring there are hand sanitisers at the entry points and toilets.
  • We will be running at reduced capacity to ensure social distancing measures are met.
  • There will be no seating at the bar.
  • Most doors are push so please use your elbows/whatever feels most comfortable.

Our staff:

  • Our staff will be wearing the required PPE (masks, gloves, etc)
  • All areas will be cleaned and sanitised regularly in their work station
  • Staff will refrain from contact with each other wherever possible
  • Staff will be sent home if feeling unwell and encouraged to stay at home if needed


Bookings:

  • As the government suggests we advise you to stick with your support bubbles
  • Please book online and make a reservation so it allows us to hold your details easier (name, contact, address)
  • Upon entry, you are responsible for sticking to the government guidelines which includes social distancing, sanitising - information will be up on posters around the venue
  • If you are bringing children, you are responsible for their supervision and safety
  • We have added more seating times to avoid busy periods and staggered entry
  • There will be increased table service as we do not recommend standing at the bar
  • By booking with us and entering the premises you are agreeing you will be responsible and respectful to the new regulations

Dining with us:

  • Tables will be maximum of 6 - larger bookings will be split up but seated near each other where possible 
  • We encourage the use of hand sanitation when arriving
  • Disposable menus will be provided if you have not already pre ordered
  • There will be no utensils on the table, sauces/other will be given in disposable plastic containers
  • Between each seatings all areas will be cleaned thoroughly
  • Tables will be 1 metre or more apart
  • Please use contactless payments where possible
  • The receipt will be put on the table rather than in the wallet


The bar area:

  • Upon arrival please use the hand sanitation
  • We encourage people to stay seated where possible and not to walk around other tables
  • To enter and leave please use main doors


The garden:

  • Shisha will have disposable mouth pieces
  • Regular cleaning of the shisha pipes
  • We encourage people to stay seated where possible and not to walk around other tables
  • We encourage people to get their own shisha stands rather than sharing if possible


The restaurant:

  • To enter use main bar entrance
  • To leave please use the restaurant exit


Music:

  • We will no longer have live entertainment including DJ's, live singers etc
  • Music will be played on the speakers/surround sound but at a reduced level to avoid people shouting across to eachother


Toilets:

  • Will have hand sanitisers 
  • Downstairs (2 people max at a time)
  • Upstairs (1 person at a time)



Please understand that this is going to be a challenging time for all of us and will take some time to adjust to. Your experience with us will still be the same but with careful guidelines in place to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. If you do not abide by these rules then we have the right to ask you to kindly leave.
